In the mean time…

Hi everyone,
We drove down from Burlington VT yesterday after a wonderful time with Tim (my brother), Martha and our beautiful niece AB, and are currently in Laconia NH visiting Bob (Mel’s father) and enjoying some more much needed downtime.
The 3 Day went outstanding! It also went in the blink of an eye which is always bitter sweet. New friends were added to the group and new faces entirely were introduced into our lives! It’s just hard to believe that it’s already over 
. I’ve got some great video this year from the event and between Melinda and I, we got some GREAT pictures! So expect something in the next week or so sent out as a “thank you”!
So that’s what we’ve been up to! Rockin’ the 3 day, visiting family and friends, and making the occasional knitting side trip 
. Special thanks to the friends and family that housed our weary butts for a visit or a few nights! And more thanks to all of you who took care of our plants and animals while we were away! We’re grateful for you and your generosity!
OH!!! and Mel’s pattern finally got posted at Magknits!!! Check it out here!! (it’s down at the bottom) She’s famous now!! hehe 
Seriously though, she worked long and hard on this original pattern. It’s all hers and she deserves every bit of credit she receives! Magknits gets read by thousands of web readers and, though she’s always solely done it for the love, it’s the first pattern of hers she’s been actually paid for, so, really big news on that front! Hopefully it’s a sign of more to come.
That’s about it! We should be resuming our regularly scheduled blogging this weekend!

It was fantasatic seeing you again last weekend, my kindred spirit! The 3 Day went wayyy too fast so let’s figure out when we can do a part of the AT. Maybe we can go for longer than 3 Days so it won’t go so fast!
