The little man had another week or so of status quo last week, but now seems to be improving again, quite a bit, and we’re so thankful! He had a visit up at the NC State Veterinary Hospital this week where he made some new friends, and was very well taken care of. He is still very weak compared with what he was, but after he came home, he tried to scratch his chin with his back leg, and we cheered. He hasn’t done that in weeks! The Sweeter was terribly sad that he was away, and very out of sorts.

Mathias gets most of his exercise these days from chewing on his bone ;) He is getting around much better though actually, and though he still often requires assistance getting up, once he’s up, he’s much more stable. We’re in process of switching him over to a different drug for his issues – and should know within a few weeks if that will be the ticket or if he will require more testing and fine tuning. Hopefully this is it!

Not to be left out, the Middy Cat-O says hello, and is feeling quite fine thank you very much!:

And Tad and I enjoyed a little outing on Sunday at the Sarah Duke Gardens, enjoying the Spring that has already sprung here in NC:

Helleborus

Hope you all are well!

Oh, and check out Tad’s very cool new photo/video/splash page when you get a chance (if you didn’t start there already!) – best viewed with music!
