How’re things?
We’re having a good summer over here, if hot. Lately we’ve been growing food in the garden and the house (mushrooms!):

Oyster mushrooms start to finish.
And enjoying using our own harvest for cooking and eating:

Eggplants from the garden glazed with miso & sesame seeds – shitakes for the soup.

All’s Quiet on the Western Front…

Sorry it’s been a bit! We’ve been fine! Just sweating the summer out and looking forward to Fall already! 
 
We got a really awesome getaway on the 4th from a  town called Banner Elk, which is just south of Boone NC.  Planning ended up being pretty slip-shot (imagine that  ) but we had a huge stroke [...]
