Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
I meant to put this up the day of, but almost all of my family was in town, so we were more than preoccupied. It’s pretty damn rare when this much of the Hunt clan gets together to celebrate anything under the same roof. Mel and I were lucky enough to play host to my brother Tim, his wife Martha and their daughter, aka: my beautiful super-duper cool niece, A.B. for most of the week! My brother Tuck was also in town, as well as my Uncle Chris and Aunt Ruth. Pretty much everybody!
So yeah, we got pretty lucky this year! ![]()
It’s been awesome to see everyone! I miss the folks who’ve already left and hope to spend more time with those who are still here! We’re all pretty different in so many ways, we’re all living different lives, and we all are pretty “chatty” individuals so I’m sure Mom and Pops were psyched we got through the entire week without a tussle
. We had to have been a handful growing up.
Mom always says we were pretty “easy” but I’m not so sure! ![]()
Point is, we’ve all grown up and have been doing our own thing for a while now. So it’s always a trip to see us all hanging out. I’ll have to film it some year. But first I need a video camera!
Some how, I’m sure many of you all can relate!
OH! Before I sign off! We finally finished migrating Mel’s site, purlingplans.com, to it’s brand spanking new design! I think it looks awesome! I was feeling a little under the weather last night and today so I figured I’d do a little design work for it and before we knew it, Mel and I were pushing hard whipping the final design into shape! I definitely can’t take credit for the elegant logo (my/our good friend John Shepherd did that) but I pretty much did everything else. I make it sound like we did it all last night and today. That’s SO far from the truth, I think we’ve been planning it for months now, but I have to admit, it’s so good to see it in it’s finished state! I’m sure we’ll have some tweaks here and there, but the lion’s share is definitely completed!
Anyways, go check it out! Let us know what you think! It’s VERY different from her old site, I think you’ll like it!
Here’s the link again, if you missed a few sentences ago: http://www.purlingplans.com
All the best,
Tad
