I heard you guys got dumped on...we, on the other hand, are having the mildest winter I've seen since I moved out here. That, combined with our typical drought patterns in the summer is going to make for one crazy fire season this year.

So fun that everybody enjoys the snow when it comes!! And those two pictures that are square with a matting on them are great Tad (what gadget took those?)

Glad you guys had such fun in NO...sounds like a blast! I followed through some of Mel's pictures on Flickr and stalked her on Twitter to see what bands you were watching! Living vicariously again!

Loving how you are turning your backyard into raised beds for veggies and herbs! Can't wait to see your gardening updates this year. Although the choice of garlic or potatoes...so tough...I can't live without either! I got my potatoes in the ground a couple weeks ago (may have been too late, but I hope not since we are having a cool spring) and the garlic I planted last fall is growing full force (first time I've planted it...normally I get a huge bagful from a friend when we work with him each fall. But that project is over so I have to grow my own now . ). I can't wait to harvest it in a couple months! Here's to an amazing gardening season to us all!

Sorry to hear about your doggie... those boots are pretty cool! I'm glad he was able to go for a walk at least. My Delilah (angora bun) is still hanging in there, but she's horribly thin and still gets infected sores on her feet. It's hard. I'm looking into homepathy for her next.
