15 years…
It’s hard to conceptualize the amount of time Melinda and I have shared a life together. It all seems so quick yet, at times, we’ll both be sitting together and a moment, or a song, will spark a memory that brings us back. We never wax on how old we are now, we never look back with regret for time lost, we just… smile. People sometimes roll their eyes at us when they hear that we recognize the day we became boyfriend and girlfriend and celebrate.
But if you want the honest truth, I felt married to Mel the first minute she sat down with me and gave me the time of day.
I was 16 and she was 17.
We’ve changed so much over the years and by some miracle or fate or whatever you want to believe, we changed together.
And now here we are, 15 years later, stronger than ever!
Everytime I think I couldn’t love you more Mel, you go an surprise me!
